Jul 20,  · Good pressing overall. The mix is very well done, only tending to be a little high on bass. This release sounds much better and richer than my CD The Cure - The Head On The Door, I even discovered new sounds I had not perceived cethischillbinderbandinadar.infoinfo packaging is very nice: labels, sleeves and printing is high quality/5(K).

About “Kyoto Song”. Kyoto Song is the second track from The Cure’s album The Head on the Door. It features an oriental hook. Robert Smith has stated that the inspiration was partially from a nightmare he had of his wife, Mary Poole, drowning, but also a dream that she had about cannibalism.

Kyoto Song (studio demo) Lyrics. About “The Head on the Door”. After the The Top, a poorly-reviewed, incoherent mix of pop, gloom and psychedelia done almost entirely as a solo effort, Robert Smith decided to turn The Cure back into an actual band for The Head On The Door.
