Broadsword and Seal Driver boast great guitar solos and Pussy Willow is one of Tull's best 80's songs. Even the final vignette "Cheerio" is lovely. There are indeed bad tracks - Beastie is pure silliness and Watching Me Watching You tries too hard - and some songs aged very badly. Blame the 80's. Nevertheless, it's a very pleasant Tull album.3/

Feb 11,  · referencing The Broadsword And The Beast, LP, Album, Another JT's album badly criticized by the specialized press, denoting lack of mind openness as usual. Their main complaint now is the extensive use of synthesizers and the loss of the traditional folk feelings in JT's current music and that except for a couple of exceptions, "most of the rest is little better than tuneless drivel."/5().

Beastie. Beastie! There's a beast upon my shoulder, (Beastie!) and a fiend upon my back. (Beastie!) Feel his burning breath a heaving, (Beastie!) smoke oozing from his stack. (Beastie!) And he moves beneath the covers, (Beastie!) or he lies below the bed. (Beastie!) He's the beast upon your shoulder.
