    Oct 03,  · I originally purchased the soundtrack of the Ken Russell "disaster", "Lisztomania" way back when the movie came and went.I loved the music. I'm not a classical music expert or purist,but I liked then, what I still like now with this release an interesting interpretation of Liszt by Rick Wakeman, and Roger Daltrey/5(7).

    Jan 31,  · this january reissue of this soundtrack japan lp from this ken russell film from that featured a soundtrack collaboration between roger daltrey and rick wakeman is actually a much rarer japan edition lp then the original soundtrack japan press from , this comes with the same a&m label logo as the 75 issue and the same inner sheet as the original the only thing different is the /5().

    Rick Wakeman, from the progressive rock band Yes, composed the Lisztomania soundtrack, which included synthesiser arrangements of works by Liszt and Wagner. He also appears in the film as the Nordic god of thunder, Thor. Daltrey and Russell wrote the Music by: Rick Wakeman, Franz Liszt, Richard Wagner.
